Welcome back to The Groan Zone, the first one of 2026. 🥶 I don't know where you are when you are listening to this groaners but recently since New Year its definitely one of the coldest I've experienced in the UK in my area.🥶

We have paid a little tribute to Switzerland🇨🇭 who had a tragedy right on the 1st January when a fire took lives. We wish RIP to those who lost their lives and well wishes to those who were injured.
To honour Switzerland the anthem for the country will pop up now and again

Apologies as this should have been released over the weekend but tiredness and busy schedule got in the way.
We also would like to say we at GZ HQ stand united with both Japan after their recent tragedy and Australia after their tragic shooting that also occurred recently. Wishing both countries well and a recovery to those injured and to those who lost their lives may your souls rest in peace.
We've also gone into two great losses of the entertainment world with actor Peter Greene and director Rob Reiner (and his wife) passing away over the weekend.
